This is how it all started.
After suffering a career ending asthma attack in my previous career as a neighborhood football player, I took up art. My teachers in school were always telling me that I should be ‘doing something constructive’ in my free time and they didn’t consider art to be one of those things. After drawing my versions of 8-bit Nintendo games and G.I. Joe battles on pieces of notebook paper, I somehow ended up majoring in Graphic Design.
I have a geek side though, and this pushed me into learning how things on the internet work. They didn’t cover that when I was in college, but I’ve managed to learn it fairly well regardless. Technology is changing graphic and web design rapidly and I’m working hard to keep up.
Too Much Information
Besides my graphic designer side, I do take part in other activities occasionally. I have an unhealthy obsession with music. I have been a musician of some sort since I was in the fifth grade, starting with the trumpet, and a few years later I picked up the guitar and taught myself. Over the years I also picked up the bass and a little piano/keyboard. After a being in a few bands, I toured for about a year with a band called Fabrik. Even though I love playing and listening to music, performing has never been something that I’ve enjoyed too much, and I went back to a somewhat more stable career. I have a lot of music floating around that I intend to eventually record.
